November 2014 in Colorado

Article text
Reece and I did our usual November trip to Colorado. The weather had been extremely warm, which meant that the four open resorts (Arapahoe Basin, Copper, Keystone, Loveland) had not been able to make much snow. Each ski area had just one narrow run open. These runs were relatively crowded.

Nevertheless, we were able to get some good skiing in (just freeskiing and drils), and on our last two days, a cold front moved in, heralding the start of winter in the Rocky Mountains.
