Good start to the 12/13 season at Big Sky

Article text
Big Sky opened on Thanksgiving (Nov 22nd) with just a couple of runs. Since then, there have been no massive snowstorms like the Alps have just enjoyed, but a few inches here and a few inches there have enabled more and more terrain to be opened up. There is now over 1000 acres of skiing available on Lone Peak, more than a quarter of Big Sky's total area, and the adjoining resort of Moonlight Basin opens tomorrow.

There is steep, ungroomed terrain accessible from the Challenger and Lone Peak Triple chairs, and quite a bit of gladed and tree skiing is now open.
