Stunning views from Aspen Highlands
We had some fantastic weather for the Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard readers' trip to Aspen.
Powder was a rare asset in the Alps this season but we were lucky enough to get some in Zermatt during February half-term week. But by Easter, the conditions were not so epic.
During the 2011 SIGB ski test at Bormio, we had to hike for our powder. And I was able to meet up with a lot of old friends.
In March, I had the chance to explore a new (to me) ski area: Discovery, near Anaconda, Montana.
April found me returning to ski at Val d'Isere for the first time in 15 years. Unfortunately the snow was rather thin down low but there was still plenty up on the glaciers. And I discovered that La Folie Douce is now a lot livelier than it was 15 years ago.

In between trips, there was always plenty of great skiing to be done at Big Sky
